Back again for another instalment of re-size?, we headed to Birmingham to handpick another selection of sneakers for you to choose from on our Instagram. After a poll, there was only one winner; embodying what a grail silhouette is all about, here’s the Nike Dunk SB ‘Cali’.
Hailing from 2004, this shoe represents the brown, white, red and green colours of the Californian State flag, offering something bright and fresh to rotations ever since its inception. Now we thought this one only had 444 pairs released in 2004, but it turns out it was close to 4000; still super rare, this is a real piece of sneaker collecting history, standing strong as one of the finest in the Dunk lineage.
First off, the material is seriously premium on these shoes, arriving with top-notch leather and soft suede still in immaculate condition. Swooshing sits on the sidewalls proudly, while an additional star on the lateral sidewalls adds to the state theme of the shoe. Part of the SB line, this one is a skate icon, and sturdy rubber soles in two tones were crafted for on-board stability. Arriving in its original box – this is a must-have for any Swoosh purist.
