The Indigenous Disability & Wellness Gathering is seeking support from local friends for their National three-day gathering in November.
The Gathering brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous governments, leadership, service providers, community members and others to learn, connect, and collaborate in addressing the unique barriers Indigenous peoples with disabilities face.
The organization is welcoming donations such as door prizes, swag bag trinkets, gift certificates, dancers, elders, volunteers, media coverage and those who wish to offer workshops and learning opportunities.
All generous donations will help support the success of the Gathering and bring awareness to diversity and inclusion within our communities.
Dates: Nov. 15, 16 and 17, 2022
Registration deadline: Early bird registration until Aug. 31, 2022.
