Friday Favorites on Friday the 13th

Hey guys,

Happy Friday! Friday the 13th to be exact. You know what that means…

Just kidding!

Friday the 13th has never bothered me. It’s not that I’m not a superstitious person; I have plenty of little quirks that would/should qualify me as certified (is it certified?) OCD. However, of all the Friday the 13ths that I can remember, nothing bad has ever happened. In fact, the one year that I played softball, I actually hit a homerun. The one and only time. I am not a baller. Did I even use that correctly? Whatever. I don’t actually care.

But, since it is Friday, how about we talk about some of my favorite things from the past week. Thanks Heather and Katie for the link up!

Mid week lunch date

Matilda

Matilda and I had a lunch date with my mama, thanks to Veteran’s Day, after I taught BODYPUMP on Wednesday. We went to First Watch, one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places. Matilda and I kept our egg streak going strong.

I don’t really think I have to explain this. Just settle back and enjoy the cuteness.

New toy/bookshelf baskets

Matilda

Matilda and I hit up Target yesterday because I needed to get out of the house to pick up a few things for her birthday party. I have been looking for a storage basket for the lower shelf of the bookcase for ages. These canvas bags/baskets were on clearance and they work perfectly. Now, Matilda’s toys are no longer spilling out all over the floor or heaped on the shelf.

Did you ever read Healthy Tipping Point? I almost feel like it’s the end of a friendship, but I understand the reasons.

What are you doing this weekend?

Have you had any good finds at Target lately?

  1. Yay for Matilda!! You are going to through a kick butt party!
I did read HTP and was really surprised by her exit. I do think blogging requires a lot of heart, so if she wasn’t into as much anymore I totally see why she decided not to keep going with it.
I hope you have a great weekend!!

    1. I do hope the party goes well! Fingers crossed!
Blogging is such an interesting outlet, very public and very private at the same time. I can’t imagine anyone doing it forever, but it’s still sad.
