‘DOSED 2: The Trip of a Lifetime’ is an inspiring documentary that tells the story of Laurie, a loving mother of 4, who was given 6 to 12 months to live in 2018 after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. She credits being here (being alive today) to her therapeutic psilocybin magic mushroom trip that turned everything around for her. She was granted legal access by the government to have a guided psilocybin mushroom journey for end-of-life anxiety, and it did a lot more for her and her family.
We’d like to invite you to a screening event in your city to watch the documentary and after the film there will be experts from the psychedelic field speaking about the advances in clinical trials, medical access, historical uses, of psychedelics to treat various health conditions. In the documentary, issues related to her treatment are discussed with medical professionals who helped with her care, and also physician and author Gabor Maté, mycologist Paul Stamets, and researcher and author Dennis McKenna. It is the second film from award-winning Canadian filmmakers Nicholas Meyers and Tyler Chandler. Any of the film’s participants are potentially available for an interview.
