ASICS GEL LYTE III Seasons Pack Release Info

The ASICS GEL-LYTE III, whose collaborations with Ronnie Fieg were part-responsible for igniting the runner craze years ago, is long overdue for a comeback. And while overlooked these past few years, we may soon see the split-tongued sneaker rise from the ashes thanks to both a number of new partnerships as well as a recent surge of interest in the footwear brand as a whole.

ASICS has put quite a bit of effort into the silhouette’s inline styles, too, crafting a wide range of attractive color stories over the course of the last few years. And for their latest, they’re once again looking to the seasons, this time channeling the feeling of Winter and Spring. The former colorway (“Fuyu”), is a monochromatic arrangement of muted earth tones. Browns of various shades run throughout the suede construction, contrasting the bright white of the laces and midsole. These same fixtures are dressed similarly on the Spring option (“Haru”), whose adjacent overlays are dyed pink in nod to Japan’s famous Cherry Blossoms.
